Über mich

I'm a British-German journalist living in Frankfurt with my wife, son, and small dog. I grew up in England, but also spoke German at home.

I've been learning Spanish by myself for a few years now. I understand a lot of what I read and hear (I try to regularly watch some Spanish Netflix shows), but I still find speaking quite tough. I'd like to start a face-to-face tandem with someone to take my fluency to the next level.

I enjoy writing, reading (fiction, history, current affairs), film, travel, and collecting old typewriters (weird, I know...).

Soy un periodista británico-alemán que vive en Fráncfort con mi esposa, mi hijo y mi perro pequeño. Me crié en Inglaterra, pero también hablaba alemán en casa.

Llevo unos años aprendiendo español por mi cuenta. Entiendo mucho de lo que leo y oigo (intento ver regularmente algunos programas españoles de Netflix), pero todavía me resulta bastante difícil hablar. Me gustaría empezar un tándem cara a cara con alguien para llevar mi fluidez al siguiente nivel.

Me gusta escribir, leer (ficción, historia, actualidad), el cine, viajar y coleccionar máquinas de escribir antiguas (raro, lo sé...).
